  i grew up a jw kid until the age of twelve.

  since then i have lived a worldly life.

  i have enjoyed alot of my life experiences, but i now feel like i am lost.

  if you really need religion in your life---shop around! sooner or later you will find one your comfortable with--not too demanding.

  it doesnt matter which--they all worship the same imaginary myth.

  How Old Was Eve When She Was Tempted?

  if near the beginning of her creation, would she not have had the effective development of a a toddler or even a baby?.

  if so, would you sentence a toddler or a baby to death for grabbing an appealing candy from a bowl?.

  where in the bible does it say what you are about to read is just a myth or a fable ?

  which bits are literal and which are symbolic ?

  so guys--its talking snake--spare rib--a flood--parting of the sea--sun standing still--144,000---

  Three congregations dissolved and a kingdom hall sold within a 50 mile radius in my area...

  has anyone else heard of these situations with congregations and halls in your area?

  i thought the ground breaking mandatory pledge a little while ago was to keep up with "immense" growth?

  how soon they forget... looks really bleak for the future of the wbats, the jw gravy train seems to be coming to a slow and agonizing yet inevitable stop.

  When you were an active WT door knocker... How did you knock?

  on the door frame, on the door, door knocker, bell.. loud, very loud, regular, soft... gentle... or just pretended and never knocked at all?

  we just had a city worker come a knocking on our front door and my responce after she left was, she should go down to the local kingdom haul and give lessons.

  her knock was so loud, she could raise the dead.

  when i was pioneering--i nearly always worked with someone else. if we found no-one at home--we would stand on the doorstep talking to each other for ages--before the slow trudge to the next house.

  from what ive observed--nothing has changed.--in 50 years.

  so lets get this straight--is the Watchtower claiming there are 8000 filipino JW's in Russia ?

  or has a newspaper made the mistake ?

  ( in case youre wondering about my interest--my wife is filipina--living with me in the UK. )

  so--if the ratio is 1 jw to 483 population in the philippines....

  if there were 8000 JW' pinoy in Russia--we could expect the TOTAL pinoy ex pat population in Russia to be around 3.8 million.

  8000+ pinoy's in Russia?? What is the ratio of jws to population in the philippines ?

  That suggests there's an awful lot of pinoy OFW,s in russia.
